In the heart of Karl Lagerfeld's former home, the Hôtel de Maisons in Paris, the second edition of Design Miami.Paris was recently held. This event, dedicated to lovers of design and contemporary creation, brings together international galleries to present rare pieces and innovative works. For the occasion, a number of galleries took over the hotel's numerous spaces to exhibit exceptional works of art and furniture.
The American Gallery Friedman Benda presented several creations, including Raphael Navot's Acrostic (Encompass) sofa, created in collaboration with Jouffre. As the centerpiece of the installation, this sofa dominated the space with its contemporary, organic curves. Its seat rests on a wooden structure finely crafted by our partner Souchet Inspired Woodwork, giving the sofa an impression of elegant robustness.
Gallery Scène Ouverte unveiled Parisaika's “Home” collection, also created in partnership with Jouffre in 2024. In a room with wood-paneled walls, we discovered the Cuddle armchair and the Cuore ottoman, upholstered in a light Loro Piana fabric. These seats are inspired by the sensory harmonies of nature and the idea of home.
Our teams are proud to have contributed to these projects by collaborating with Raphael Navot and Parisaika on their respective creations, and by representing our atelier at Design Miami.Paris 2024.
