It has been with great passion and enthusiasm that the ateliers Jouffre played its part in the creation of the French designer's new Parisian office. It has been with pride that the team read his profile feature in the February 2017 issue of Architectural Digest.
In 2016, Jouffre has created several items inspired by Pierre Yovanovitch. Among these pieces were: a sofa, dining chairs, a floating sofa and throw pillows. In addition, the upholstery company created the famous Ourson armchairs and also two asymmetrical armchairs that were showcased during the 2016 Miami Art Basel.
By reading this article, we get to know better the talented, perfectionist and ambitious Pierre Yovanovitch, who managed to establish himself as one of the most celebrated European designers. But if only one sentence from this article was to be remembered, it would probably be a declaration from the designer, declaration that defines the French design as well as Yovanovitch's style: "I didn't want anything over the top. This is the spirit of French design. Very chic but restrained, minimal but still warm."
