As part of the Maison&Objet In The City event, renowned interior architect and designer Marion Stora introduced her inaugural furniture collection in collaboration with our fine upholstery workrooms during her Opening Acts showcase.
Maison&Objet, a significant gathering for the design and lifestyle community, made its much- anticipated return in early January. Marion Stora's collection took center stage at the prestigious Berès gallery, nestled at 35 Rue de Beaune in the heart of Paris. For this exclusive exhibition, the esteemed French architect chose to partner with a select group of renowned artists and master craftsmen, including Maison Laval, Manufacture Robert Four, Toyine Sellers, and our own workrooms, all converging to contribute their expertise to this exceptional event.
At the core of this ephemeral installation, our team at the workrooms undertook a series of expert upholstery and curtain projects. Our skilled artisans meticulously worked with fine linen fabric from Maison Dedar Milano, elegantly draping it across the walls and ceiling of the scenography. Subtle trimmings from Maison Verrier were thoughtfully integrated, infusing a touch of refinement. Additionally, our upholsterers at our Lyon workroom skillfully crafted a Wave curtain using exquisite Dedar Milano fabric. Finally, at the heart of this creative endeavor, two contemporary armchairs took the spotlight, characterized by their intricately carved wood armrests, enveloped in fabric curated by Toyine Sellers Sellers.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Marion Stora for her gracious invitation and for her dedication to showcasing the artistry of our decorative crafts.
