On the occasion of the tenth edition of the AD Intérieurs exhibition, designer Stéphane Parmentier has entrusted the ateliers Jouffre with the design of his space.
Since 2010 AD magazine has been organizing the AD Intérieurs exhibition, which brings together confirmed talents and young designers to decorate a place of Parisian heritage. This year the Coulanges Hotel in Paris will receive thirteen artists selected by the magazine. Each designer will propose the staging of a room reflecting their savoir-faire as well as their artistic identity. With more than 20,000 visitors over the years, the event has become unmissable in the field of interior architecture.
In this selection, familiar names, talented interior designers: Laura Gonzalez, Bismut & Bismut and Humbert & Poyet are among the designers with whom Jouffre collaborates regularly, especially in previous editions.
With more than 20,000 visitors, the event has become an unmissable event in the field of interior architecture.
Jouffre will be present once again at the event this year, alongside designer Stéphane Parmentier who will be working with the Lyon-based ateliers for the very first time.
Interior designer and artistic director Stéphane Parmentier designs spaces by infusing a touch of sensuality, delicacy and comfort into his creations. For the exhibition, he will present "Le salon de musique", a space imagined around sharing, conviviality, but especially a theme that is dear to him: music. "On both sides, a sofa, a daybed, club chairs float on a blue carpet and furnish this universe for which the sound designer Frédéric Sanchez has designed seven playlists. Earthen brick walls and step benches create the space where ancient pieces and contemporary works of art interact in harmony. "AD Magazine
A second theme influencing the piece, carried by Stéphane's love for Japanese sake, includes two pieces of furniture which will be filled with hundreds of bottles.
Jouffre craftsmen will have the pleasure of making a pair of armchairs with influences of the thirties, revisited in a modern and timeless way by the designer.
The upholsterers will also create several seats, with mattresses and bolsters resting on bleachers reminiscent of the Roman Arena, where the public can relax to the sound of the central speaker.
Jouffre is proud to participate in this event alongside Stéphane Parmentier. Everyone at Jouffre is keen to demonstrate the savoir-faire of the workshop in order to build a relationship of trust over time.
