With its knowledge of art history and mastery of traditional techniques, Jouffre's specific expertise has been deployed many times for the renovation of all kinds of listed building.
Extensive research was conducted with the Mobilier National (state furnishings institution) to find the archives at the Château de Compiègne, in order to identically replicate the magnificent drapes and covers that adorned this funeral hearse. Fabrics, trims and furs were then made in our workrooms before being precisely fitted on the hearse in situ, at the Château de Versailles.
